Texas Hold'em is a poker game where players try to make the best five-card hand using two hole cards and five community cards. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Setup and Deal
Blinds: The two players to the left of the dealer button post forced bets called the small blind and big blind.
Hole Cards: The dealer gives every player two private cards face down. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Betting Rounds
Pre-Flop: Players bet based on their hole cards, starting to the left of the big blind.
The Flop: The dealer places three community cards face up on the board, followed by a second betting round.
The Turn: The dealer adds a fourth community card face up, followed by a third betting round.
The River: The dealer adds the fifth and final community card face up, followed by the final betting round. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Player Options
Fold: Give up cards and any chips already bet.
Check: Pass the action to the next player without betting (only possible if no one else has bet).
Bet/Raise: Increase the wager amount that other players must match to stay in the hand.
Call: Match the highest bet made during the current round. [1]
Showdown
Winning: Remaining players reveal their cards. The highest five-card combination wins the pot. Players can use any combination of their two hole cards and the five community cards.
Roulette is a game of pure chance where players bet on which numbered pocket a small ball will land on inside a spinning wheel.
The Wheel and Board
Numbers: The wheel features numbers 1 through 36, colored alternately red and black.
Zeroes: American wheels have a green 0 and 00. European wheels have just a single green 0.
Placing Bets
Inside Bets: Wagers placed directly on specific numbers or small groups of numbers (e.g., single number, split between two numbers, corner of four numbers). These offer high payouts but low odds of winning.
Outside Bets: Wagers placed on large categories of numbers located on the outer edge of the betting mat (e.g., Red or Black, Odd or Even, High 1-18 or Low 19-36). These offer lower payouts but much higher odds of winning.
Gameplay
Spin: The dealer spins the wheel in one direction and launches a small white ball in the opposite direction.
No More Bets: The dealer announces "no more bets" right before the ball begins to drop toward the numbered pockets.
Resolution: The ball settles into a pocket. The dealer marks the winning number on the table, clears losing bets, and pays out the winners.
Blackjack is a card game played against the dealer where the objective is to get a hand total closer to 21 than the dealer without going over.
Card Values
Numbered Cards: Worth their face value (2 through 10).
Face Cards (J, Q, K): Worth exactly 10 points.
Aces: Worth 1 point or 11 points, depending on which value benefits the hand more.
Gameplay
Deal: The dealer gives two cards to each player and two to themselves (one face up, one face down).
Natural Blackjack: If your first two cards total 21 (an Ace and a 10-value card), you win automatically, usually earning a higher payout unless the dealer also has 21.
Player Choices
Hit: Ask for another card to increase your total.
Stand: Keep your current cards and end your turn.
Double Down: Double your original bet in exchange for taking exactly one more card.
Split: If dealt two cards of equal value, separate them into two independent hands by placing a matching second bet.
Dealer Rules and Winning
Bust: Going over 21 results in an immediate loss.
Dealer Turn: After all players finish, the dealer reveals their hidden card. The dealer must hit until their cards total 17 or higher.
Payouts: If your total is higher than the dealer's without exceeding 21, you win even money on your bet. If your totals match, it is a "push" and your money is returned.
The goal is to collect the most "Books." A book is a complete set of four cards of the same rank (for example, all four 7s or all four Kings). The player with the most books when all cards are gone wins the game.
ย How to Control Your Game
Select Your Target Card: Click on any card inside your hand. The card will slide upward and display a blue highlight.
Ask the Opponent: Click the blue "Ask for Card" button.
Read the Game Log: Watch the scrolling black ticker box at the bottom to see what cards are being drawn and traded!
ย Standard Rules Implemented
Stealing Cards: If you ask your opponent for a rank they are holding, they must hand over all cards of that rank. You get to keep your turn and ask again!
Go Fish: If they do not have that card, they will say "Go Fish!" You automatically draw one card from the center ocean deck.
Lucky Catch: If you pull the exact card rank from the ocean that you just asked for, you yell "Lucky!" and immediately get another turn. Otherwise, your turn ends.
Empty Hand Rescue: If you completely run out of cards but there are still cards left in the ocean, the game will automatically draw a fresh hand of up to 7 cards for you so you can keep playing.
